If we schedule a regular season game with IU then we should identify the UK official who approved the game and fire him on the spot.
There was a time when it was a great series. It will never be one again. For their officials to allow the hooliganism to go unchecked is the same as encouraging it. They just didn't realize the consequences of it killing the series. So be it.

Bob Knight destroyed the idea of sportsmanship in that state years ago and IU has never understood how to bring it back since. Mike Davis with his high speed come apart, followed by Kelvin Sampson and his cheating ways, then Tom Crean with his asexual creep show and mob-fan mentality have been employed by the leadership at that university which was cultivated in the social petri dish of Knight's boorish and bullying behavior to everybody around him. IU has set the standard for deleterious delirium.
I remember this...Zeller Gabbed MSU's Nix' arm and hit himself in the junk. If you remember that game Zeller then doubled over and fell to the floor convulsing, causing a lengthy stoppage of play and the whole "review" fiasco. A complete "dick" move if I've ever seen one.

Well, you would be surprised. The only IU grad at my place of employment is woman who doesn't give a crap about sports. Several Purdue, Ohio State and a Michigan grad. The last IU guy left a few years ago. I kind of miss him, it was fun picking on him when we kicked their butts!
That's what happens when you are in Indy, where a lot of people are from somewhere else. I run into other UK fans pretty often.
I never think about a series with IU, only when there’s a thread do I think of IU at all. It’s a relic rivalry that only they care about because it reminds them of a time when they meant something. They need the UK game to feel relevant, to us they might as well be any other obscure school.
