You know, I live 50 minutes directly south of Bloomington, so for me, this is pure bliss. Particularly when I add subtle hints of “Kentucky-ness” to my daily outfit.😂

IU may be peaking this year. They may never get better than this.
They basically have to beat Michigan State at East Lansing on Saturday or be in serious jeopardy of missing the NCAA tournament. That would be the TENTH TIME in FOURTEEN YEARS they did not dance.

* And it is the 35th ANNIVERSARY of the last time the Hoosiers won any kind of post-season tournament, even the Big Ten Tourney.
* And barring a run this year, next year will mark THIRTY YEARS during which Indiana advanced past the Sweet 16 ONCE - that fluke run in 2002 aided by Duke's collapse in a game at Rupp and other upsets in their bracket.
Imagine if dating back to Jamal Mashburn and Travis Ford Kentucky had gotten past the Sweet 16 ONCE. That's how much Indiana sucks.

How the heck have they never won the B1G tournament? That’s futility at its best. Even some lower rung SEC teams have caught fire before and won a tournament.
I live in Evansville also and love it when IU gets beat. Many Kentucky fans in our town.

IUse2Be will be fine. They hired a rookie coach with no college experience, so they had to know it'd take the guy 5-6 years to get a feel for the game...Of course, their rookie coach will be 70 by then.
Hard to believe they may actually miss out on the Dance yet again.
They have what should be some very winnable games left on their schedule, but their margin for error is down to almost zero, and they are currently playing their worst ball of the year.

They are 7-7 in conference. They finish @ Purdue where they have zero chance to win. So to finish over .500 in conference they have to win 4 of the other 5, which includes road games at Ohio State and Minnesota and home games against ranked Wisconsin and Rutgers - a team scrapping for the tourney. Maybe 10-10 in the B10 gets them in. But that’d be close.
Losers of 4 straight with a game @ THE Ohio State on Monday, how can a team that sucks THIS bad even be considered for a NCAA tournament appearance as an at large bid?!
