"Indiana" literally means "Land of the Indians". Now how come the cancel culture police haven't tackled that yet? And Indianapolis?

Change them to "NativeAmericana" and "NativeAmericanapolis"

Are you even a real team if you don’t have a mascot? You’d think that when starting a school in one of the most boring states, creating a mascot to spice things up would’ve come to mind. Then again, it would be pretty hard to be inspired in Bloomington. (found on another board)

I read a petition for exactly that the other day, before it’s all said and done Twatter will want state 1, 2, 3, blue, red, whatever that can’t be offensive.

Not so fast, my friend. I looked at the records of the 4 teams IU has beaten: 3-13 combined. That's 3 wins total by Michigan, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Penn State.

Ohio State not much better. Their opponents are a combined 3-9.

Big Ten sucks.

Alabama, by contrast, opponents are a combined 18-17.
