As much of a rat he was coaching whiners and floppers, the best choice for HC besides Pitino would probably be Coach K. I hate his teams because they were compromised of weasels, but he was a great coach and got the most out of his players.

Hamilton was THE recruiting closer back when he was an assistant coach with UK. You can’t spell Gunther Behnke (or Sam Bowie) without Leonard Hamilton.

Wouldn't hurt then to have both him and Antigua. I just know Hamilton was a great coach from the anecdotal evidence. He was a tad before my awareness of UK basketball.

Used to really admire him, liked his self toughness and depreciation, but man, he's been an arrogant SOB for awhile now and the crap he let his players do was beyond crappy. I mean letting Allen be a spoiled brat, tripping people left and right, hitting chairs.....just bad leadership.
