Brutal stat just heard on KSR

I’m not gonna spend time on caring “just how big of a turd is it?”

Shit is shit.

Anyone supporting this guy and what he’s doing to this program please go with him when he’s removed. We don’t need UK fans like that if you’re the best you don’t accept anything but. And defending Calipari is about the sickest thing you can do as a UK fan. This guy needs to be ran out today.

Barnhart got played so bad by Calipari. The guy had no intentions on winning at UK and suckered this university into paying him to lose. He doesn’t do his job at all. As someone who watched Calipari in the early to mid 2000’s a lot as a student at Memphis I just know his ways enough to know he thinks this is hilarious. Calipari will only dig in the more people come after him.

I’ve told this board for years how bad it can get with the guy. He will leave here Scorched earth if you bruise his ego enough. We need to be careful and buy him out quietly and quickly. If you give him next year set the date on what you’ll accept. When he doesn’t hit the mark make your and remove him.

He needs to be shocked not waiting for it.

If the stat is wrong and they got it from here and quoted it on the radio without fact checking … lol

Regardless the numbers are bad
I'd say the stat is good. Look at our last three 'significant' games.

Knocked out of SECT early by UT with Cal making no adjustments.
Knocked out of the NCAAs by St. Peter's with Cal making no adjustments.
Lost to MSU by playing so poorly almost everybody in the country called out Calipari's poor coaching.

Thank god for Anthony Davis, MKG, and doron Lamb

I think everyone is missing something.

Calipari doesn’t care. He’s not preparing teams he’s not prepping he’s just telling guys they’re here to learn how to be a pro at the next level. The game is totally secondary to him.

He’s got to be fired. We’re gonna end up worse than Syracuse. And when Calipari digs his heels in, you’re not budging him. He’s gotta go. Sad, but he did this so just get it over with. To hell with the class they’ll have the same problems we have now anyway.

Yeah, but, some of us wouldn’t be happy if we went 40-0 every season. We’re just unrealistic trolls who are always negative & must be miserable all the time. Straight up haters. We don’t deserve to win & we don’t deserve the coach we have. Actually, that’s true. We definitely don’t deserve this coach. Plus, we don’t know shit about basketball. If we know so much, we should apply for the job. But, I guess we want Gillispie back bc no other decent coach on this planet would have the slightest bit of interest in the job. Just cheer blindly with unwavering support, no matter what happens. Have you not seen next year’s recruiting class?! 💩

Also Darius Miller is criminally underrated, especially when you think of what he went through with BCG and was Cal's whipping boy for a year and then accepted his 6th man role his last two years.

Calipari has no championship, even with his studs, without a Kentucky kid named Darius Miller.

And just think. Had a crazy, once in a lifetime, NBA lockout not happened, Calipari would have zero championships. It’s just absurd how overrated John Calipari is. He’s the Jack Daniels of college basketball. He proves marketing can beat substance.

True he was the leader of that team, really all six key guys were all equally contributed

We all made fun of Self talking about "running out of time" but Cal very nearly blew that game by slowing it way down. That 3 by Teague, which was not a good shot, saved us.

What makes this stat really depressing is, college basketball has been DOWN the last several years. Like way down from where it was when I was in high school/college. There aren’t nearly as many teams every year that you can honestly look at and say “this team could potentially win it all”. So we are wasting these seasons.

OK, so I came to 20-23 since the start of the 2016 season against P6. Checked the first 6 years under Cal. P6 includes Big East. 2014 when old Big East broke up and Louisville was in AAC for 1 year, I included the AAC that year only and not going forward.

2010: 6-1
2011: 8-3
2012: 10-1
2013: 1-4
2014: 6-4* (AAC included, 2 games Louisville and 1 UConn)
2015: 8-1

Total 39-14

Crap, that’s embarrassing beyond belief.

If one of our rivals had that record, this whole place would be pointing and laughing.

Post 2017 has been a sh*t show.
2020 was actually one of my favorite and best teams .

It would seem since Cal doesn't want as Ryan Lemond said "bond the bridge so to speak" with Matt that he isn't holding anything back right now. He is throwing haymakers.

If that’s true, then I think it shows what’s wrong with a lot of the media these days. Cause you’re basically saying that if Matt was in Cal’s good graces, then he wouldn’t be calling him out for his BS and underperforming. And you’re probably right, but that should never be the case. It’s media’s job to question when someone making 9-10 mil a year is just mailing it in. But like I said the other day, you won’t see Dick Gabriel, Dave Baker, Tom Leach, Kyle Tucker, John Clay, Mark Story, or Larry Vaught talking about these pitiful stats. They are all shills.

The evidence that Calipari is a used car salesman is plentiful and easily available, if you're willing to see it.

Here's another hot take that many Calipari supporters aren't going to like....
He doesn't get players to the NBA that weren't already headed there anyway. In fact, I would say he may be holding some guys back as far as their stock value coming out of college. Look at the players who were just above average at UK but, made a almost immediate huge impact after getting to the NBA.
You can't tell me Calipari made guys like KAT, Booker and Herro better while they were at UK. And that's just three names.
Did their bodies and minds mature some in the few short months they were on campus? Sure but, that's something we all did. Calipari takes a lot of credit for those NBA salaries when in fact his role in their lives was closer to that of a train conductor.

Thanks for checking. Don’t know where KSR got that from. Still bad regardless.

Everyone is just ignoring your posts lol

Kentucky is 11-19 in it’s last 30 non-conference power 5 games. Absolutely inexcusable.

$9.5 million a year for this.

Edit: Looks like it’s 20-23 since 2016. Still terrible but not sure where KSR got this number.
With those numbers over a several year time frame it is getting harder to claim we are a major force in CBB.
