Brown's comment about going to an Adidas school

Hilarious. This time last year you Jayhawk fans were busy selling the world on why Svi was a future top 15 pick. Now, he's relegated to role player in an effort to convince Brown Kansas is for him.

The reality is that if Brown went to Kansas, he'd have to compete with Greene, Svi, and Bragg for minutes. I'd predict another transfer if it happens, just like last year with Frankamp.

It doesn't sell Svi short to say he isn't as good as Brown. He's not. And Svi is 9 months younger than Brown still. They are different types of players entirely. I am excited to see if Svi can truly develop into the type of player NBA scouts think he's going to be. I am more of a "believe it when I see it" type of fan versus "but the scouts say he'll be great so it must be true" fan. I certainly hope they're right and Svi is worthy of a lottery pick after next season but I wouldn't bet my house on that after next year. Maybe two years, who knows. From all accounts he is in Lawrence working relentlessly on his body and his game to be ready for next season's opportunity so fingers crossed.

KU is going to be platooning or they will be having talented players just warming up seats. They have a stacked roster and how do you guys have 2 spots open? Didn't you all have just 1 senior and Oubre and Alexander to the nba? Well Alexander pretty much forced since they were getting paid.

We also had two unused scholarships last year after Tharpe and Frankamp transferred. the senior, Garrett, was a walk on as was Pollard, Manning and Self.

I think he would've went to Kansas, but since they now have Diallo at the 4 that means the Butler Carlton Banks from the fresh prince of Bel Air will be playing SF most likely. They have Green too who I think may break out, so Brown doesn't want to be in that logjam just because they are freaking Adidas. Nike's way better than Adidas anyways. There's a reason the greatest basketball player in history was a Nike guy you know.
