Brown and Flagg both injured in first half of game

I sprained my ankle in a similar fashion while in high school and it took like 2 weeks for the swelling to completely go down.

He landed on his tippy toe and then the side of his foot damn near touched the ground.
That did not look good.

Is he really? I know thats part for precaution.

Also, if Duke were to lose this game.. they drop to a middle 1-seed? Does the committee not care? What if they win but Flagg is out? Man this is big.
Yeah apparently on his way for X-Rays. I bet Duke holds that information close, because if he is out, that drops them a seed line for sure.

They'll ban conference tournaments next year if Flagg is out.

It's funny I was just thinking about Duke's situation even before today. I've made my feelings known on conference tournaments. Not a fan of them. So I wondered for a team like Duke that relies so heavily on Flagg.. to try and make him play 3-4 games in 3-4 nights for virtually nothing but an ACCT trophy.. it made me wonder how much Duke really wanted to be in this.. and if they wouldn't mind losing early just to be done with it.

Now.. let's say Malauch and Flagg are out for a few weeks.. Duke's ceiling is what, maybe an Elite8? And that's being generous.

This might honestly have some ramifications. And certainly because it happened to the biggest player this year, on the biggest team in college basketball..
