Brown and Flagg both injured in first half of game

He'll do it for the Brotherhood. Lol
Right! Seriously, he will be one of the NBA's biggest stars from day one. And unlike Zion, he will only get better and better and play a ton assuming nothing weird happens to him. Just too much riding on his future. Even if he enters the NCAA at 80%, the risk of re-injury means tremendous forces will be against him taking a chance. The brotherhood's power and influence could be put to the test with this one.

I certainly hope he can recover and get better to play as soon as possible, I truly do. I spent ten years in a wheelchair after breaking my back. Good Lord saw fit to give me strength to get back on my feet, which I am eternally grateful.

I don't wish any ill will or injury on any young men or women that go out there and play. Ever. He's had a memorable year and been the stud for dUKe. Anything less than Flagg being at 100% is not a good thing for the Blue Devils.

I imagine he will sit on the bench the remainder of the ACC tournament but those kind of ankle sprains .... Broome had a high ankle sprain earlier in the year and came right back, didn't he? Let's hope Flagg can too.

Cause dUKe sure doesn't need him on the bench cheering his teammates on as moral support. They need him on the court, period.

He is back on bench with no boot.
Does he have superhuman ligaments/tendons!? Not that I want someone injured but I would think if it was serious he wouldn’t be chilling on the bench.

This is the exact reason people despise Duke. He rolled his ankle but they treated it like they were going to have amputation. Have his teammates carry him off the court, in a wheelchair, bawling. All this theatrics to watch him walk back into the bench like nothing is wrong.

Any other player would have limped off to the locker room, got some treatment, and been done with it.

How do you go from crying and can't put weight on it to not even needing a walking boot as a precaution in 30 minutes? Either you have the fastest healing body in the world or you are a drama queen.

You’re joking right?

Usually when a player leaves in a wheelchair or cart, and they're crying, it's because they know they tore an ACL or an Achilles and their season is over.

He's back 10 minutes later without a boot or ice?

Yeah, this is why people hate Duke. I have to wonder if they didn't drum some of this up for theatrics. Like the fall wasn't bad, but they just went with it.

Maybe it’s bad they shot it up and he walked to the bench like nothings wrong to protect their seed line keep the injury quiet

The answer to most of the shit they do is just simply “it’s duke, that’s why”

Reports coming out, Flagg is ending his career at Duke. He will rehab and get healthy for the draft.
This is a developing story!

Even if he could play, Scheyer would be an idiot to do so. They are not going to drop from a 1 see if they lose in the next round. Why risk aggravating it?

So if this wasn't that bad.. then what was the crying and the wheelchair for?
I def might have messed it but where was the crying? I took it as he was kinda fine the whole time because I didnt see him like that and would have assumed he would be bawling if he was really done.

A full grown dude, as big as Flagg is crying like that is inexcusable. I don’t think he has the toughness to be successful in the NBA

I didn't think the replay looked that bad. My first thought was maybe the ankle turn caused a small bone to break in his foot (something I did in high school). If the X-rays were negative and it's just the ankle, I think he'll be close to 100% next week.
