Seems to me like Shannon Dawson is valuing a quarterback's mobility less than Brown. Also seems he's willing to take guys that are more slight of stature, but placing a higher premium on accuracy, decision making and some unique, more advanced quarterback measurements.
Brown really targeted the flashier guys that scouts drooled over in terms of their ceiling either because they were good athletes or had big arms. Dawson is going for the more traditional college pocket passer that maybe isn't as flashy. That's interesting because Brown's offense seemed to be more in line with the guys Dawson has recruited (the shorter, underneath, Air Raid stuff) and Dawson's is about taking more shots down the field.
UK has at various points offered about nine QB's from the '17 class (officially or not) and none are labeled dual-threats. Not all of those guys are current targets, FWIW, but still, interesting.
