Brohm

Schedules are tough, time consuming and difficult things to measure and evaluate. I don't know which "football service" you citing but I am confident such "schedule rankings" are a one time, pre-season rankings.

FWIW,I think the "best" schedule evaluation is done by Sagarin. I don't know what criteria he uses but he "updates" each week. This week ( after 10 games) he ranks UL's SoS rank as #66 and UK's ranking (also after 10 game) at #56.

Peace

That’s what I follow, until Kentucky played Alabama, louisville’s schedule was rated tougher. It will probably be about even after this week and then y’all will end with the toughest schedule because you play Louisville. 😉

Brohm is good Coach - but he Coached in Big Ten West which is the home of historically offensively limited teams. Caught huge break playing 2 away games on neutral fields - could have lost both and not playing Fl St in regular season - I do think they are 2nd best in ACC
I like his style of play they are aggressive in both phases unlike our Coach who is risk adverse
I think UL wins because UK is god awful on defense and we struggle to pass block - Louisville brings the heat on the QB
I hope I’m wrong but we just have not impressed this season

Louisville is his Alma mater; he went to H.S. there; he was f-ing born there. He just got there!

You think he's leaving soon?
If TA&M waves $10M at JB, he will drop Louisville like a bad date to the prom and take Momma & nem with him to Texas.

Yee Haaa!!!

I saw some UL fans are worried he`ll take the A&M job..................... He hasn`t been mentioned, at least not that I`ve seen and I don't think A&M wants a coach who was .500 in the Big Ten and is riding the easiest schedule a team could have. I just looked at a schedule ranking that listed UL`s schedule as 115th in the nation and the same poll ranked ours at 11th. Will we beat them? We`ll see on the 25th.
Brohm is definitely being mentioned by sports media and talking heads in Texas that follow A&M.

He is on their list.

UL is doing something similar to what UC did a couple of years ago. Beat Notre Dame and then a litany of mediocre to bad teams. UC of course avoided the stumble and wound up in the playoff. This is one reason I look forward to expansion, because although these type teams will still make a 12 team playoff, they'll be weeded out in the first round.

Whatever...read today that Stoops sgent told UK that TAM has reached out to him about MS's interest...sure they have.
Jimmy Sexton is the agent for all the top coaches.

He will leverage the TA&M opening to fleece a lot of AD'S and a bunch of coaches are going to get raises for absolutely no reason other than their agent is sharper than their AD.

To be fair, UC had like 9 NFL draft picks on that team, actually thought they were better than TCU last year

Avid UK supporter here...just watched Brohm on tv...how did he do what he did? Win on Sat, and play for ACC championship...I know ACC is weak, but still quite a turnaround
The impressive part was he did it by turning around the defense! Their offense has been spotty all year but their Defense has turned out with a bunch of no names. I know the comp hasnt been the toughest but they still performed much better than thought. And they did it with aggression and pressure to make up for a lack of size and talent. Wish we would adopt a little more of that style.

6 of their 9 wins they have scored 30+ pts

Brohm was .500 in the Big Ten @ Purdue with a large sample size , and had points where his job security was shaky there . He wasn’t as good as stoops has been here . UL is the only power 5 gig that would have been excited with the hire , and that is because …Brohm. Not that he won’t succeed there long-term , but they’ve benefited with their schedule .
Purdue was a much tougher school for Brohm to get recruits to commit to or qualify academically for that Engineering school. He should be able to get more talent into Louisville.

Know some one who went there who thinks there is nobody smarter yet they ended up with a business degree instead of becoming a big time engineer. Didn't use that BD degree either.

Missouri beat middle Tennessee 23-19

Missouri is 4-0 against the entire state of Tennessee this year. They are playing their best football as shown in their last outing where they crushed Tennessee 36-7.

Louisville's last game was was a 7-point win in a pillow fight against a putrid Virginia team that was massacred by UT. Mizzou would dry hump Louisville and would do it without their consent.

Go away.

Change brings excitement program wide

Eleven years of mediocrity will eventually lead us to falling behind ul … hopefully it holds off another year
This is shocking ignorance. 10 win seasons are mediocrity? You do realize Stoops started with a program needing a big climb to even reach mediocrity?

Don't think Brohm will leave the Ville that is his hometown, just shows how a coach can change a team, of course we are stuck with Stoops forever.
Hopefully Iowa comes calling. I just hope if/when the time comes to hire a new coach that we don't leave it in Barney's hands. We need to hire a committee and hope the new coach has major recruiting contacts in Ohio.
