It's actually worse than that, it is a National Champion trophy. After examining the picture, I have finally unlocked the secret as to why Collins never produced like we thought he would. He has 2 left hands!!! Not only that, but one of them is immesely bigger than the other. Bet that makes it hard to do much other than dunk, which is exactly what we saw on the court.
The issue is, you are only comparing the act of walking. Walking to class is going to require you to be on your feet much less than a 2 hour camp. Additionally, you are only going to walk to class, and then be seated for an hour or so, and mostly away from people. At the camp, not only would he be on his feet most of the day, but he was helping out with stations and even participated in a couple of knockout freethrow rounds. In other words, he is going to be much more active at a camp than walking to class.
But at any rate, there are people making grand sweeping accusations off of very little factual information. I have no idea whether he will end up playing or not, and there has yet to be one little bit of evidence to sway me one way or the other. My best guess is that he plays at some point, maybe even to start the season. That is because he was adamant he was going to play, Pilgrim says he expects him to play against Kansas, 3rd game of the year.
