Brad White to LSU?

If true, Timing stinks because Sumrall could’ve easily been promoted to DC.

Maybe that makes it possible for Stoops to go after someone like Muschamp?
Figured Muschamp would get the Georgia DC job . But you’re right, Sumrall was our defensive coordinator in waiting.

Was hoping it would be Summral
I am sure Jon would have loved being DC at his alma mater, but he has accepted his new job. Neil Brown made about $660k as Troy’s HC. Not sure what Sumrall makes. Stoops could rollout some $ and either get Jon an immediate raise or steal him away. But, I doubt Jon rolls that way.

Shannon was just hired at FSU as it's linebacker coach and co-defensive coordinator, which being the sole defensive coordinator at Kentucky would seemingly be an upgrade over

House would be great to bring back

Wouldn't mind if they opened the checkbook to bring Clink back in the role either

Getting House back would really soften the blow.
Not to have sour grapes.....but White was a really good edge rusher position coach with Josh Allen in 2018 and his first year as DC in 2019 was damn good for all we lost. But 2020 his D was not good and last year with all that experience....that D laid a pretty big egg for the most part. I sort of think Matt House is a bit better to be honest.

If he leaves make a big offer to Muschamp. No to Randy Shannon and House hated recruiting. Pry Diaz away from Penn State. This is getting crazy.

I do think, overall White has had better athletes to work with.

That will not happen

The way some of the dcks on here have trashed our DC, it wouldn't surprise me if he took the job. Losing 2 D coaches will hurt. Too many irons in the fire already. Couldn't imagine trying to replace both Sumrall and White (both LB coaches and our DCs).

This is gonna make me sick even thinking about it, but I'm now wondering if this has been in the works/known for a week or so.

Brad White may or may not take the job at LSU . But anything anyone said on this site will have ZERO to do with it. Get real .

I believe House turned down both UT and Auburn as defensive coordinator the last few seasons
Hopefully he enjoyed his time working for Stoops and living in Lexington? Maybe it’s a long shot . I think when he left he said he just didn’t like recruiting. Seems like it would be hard to get around that . Wonder how the Chiefs linebackers have been doing this year , maybe he doesn't feel his job is as stable as it was ? I just hope Stoops gets who he wants.

Agree 100%, I always thought he was the single biggest factor in Josh Allen’s elevation into a premiere rusher
