Yes, because eyewitness testimony is incontrovertible - the best evidence you can find! - and because nearly 50 year old memories are infallible, especially about something as precise to the naked eye as shooting distance. Nostalgia plays no part in any of this, no sirree. I won't call you names. You've been called a lot worse than crazy, and that's just on these pages......and BTW, I didn't "basically call him a liar", that's a pretty serious charge, I wouldn't do that lightly. Big difference between "lying" and "exaggerating a 50 year old memory." I presume no ill will. I know, that's crazy in internet world...

and, to be accurate, you didn't say "exaggerating a 50 year old memory." You said it was a "gross exaggeration," and opined that "...it would be stupid to take that shot."
Call it what you want.
And, just because someone chooses to go with the player from way back, as I do as well, doesn't mean it has anything whatsoever to do with "nostalgia." It is an opinion.
People forget about Jodie Meeks too much. His percentage was right around 42% for his senior season, but when you take that and combine it with the fact he was receiving double/triple teams on the perimeter and could create his own shot, its hard to argue anyone was a better shooter
