I've seen mock drafts that have him as a first-round pick but I think he could use another year of college ball. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
I’m sure he will stay in the draft. If not and he leaves how is this going to be explained away at Calipari U?I've seen mock drafts that have him as a first-round pick but I think he could use another year of college ball. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
Sorta wish he would've went back to Arkansas. Thinking about who to play between Fland, DJ and Acuff would've made Cal's head explode.I’m sure he will stay in the draft. If not and he leaves how is this going to be explained away at Calipari U?
Absolutely no reason to explain anything. He valued the NBA more than it valued him. He knows that if he isn't drafted, he could get more in college. He is keeping his options open. Smart decision by Fland.I’m sure he will stay in the draft. If not and he leaves how is this going to be explained away at Calipari U?
What does this mean?
Also has Amari and Jax going early in the second this year with Brea and Carr later on. Dang!Consensus Mock - NBADraft.net

Has Boogie going #17 if he stays 1 more year he could be a lottery pick. Might be a smart move to stay in college.
That would be a miracle. Also has Amari and Jax going early in the second this year with Brea and Carr later on. Dang!
Boogie would do well to return to college. Seems like he fits the mold of one of those Cal guys that really just needs an extra couple semesters.
I believe he was in that old 70’s movie Saturday Night feverWho the hell is boogie fland never heard of him 🤔
smart decision by Fland’s agent.Absolutely no reason to explain anything. He valued the NBA more than it valued him. He knows that if he isn't drafted, he could get more in college. He is keeping his options open. Smart decision by Fland.
He was 1 and done. Smart to keep options open because we don't have room for him anymore.was going to say Hog fans here to tell us truths in 3…2….1……but one of them beat me to it even.
Yeah, I agree completely about keeping options open. Just wild how other team fans are here so much and so quickly. Not saying it’s wrong, just wild to me. With this board being so active, I guess it makes sense. He was 1 and done. Smart to keep options open because we don't have room for him anymore.
I post here a lot KY is my 2nd favorite team.Yeah, I agree completely about keeping options open. Just wild how other team fans are here so much and so quickly. Not saying it’s wrong, just wild to me. With this board being so active, I guess it makes sense.
It's all about getting that 2nd contract.Bama will be involved here. St. John's stupidity of promising PG spot to Ian Jackson....he'd have been perfect there. He should return to CBB due to his age-he's very young and has no reason to rush the process.
You don't have room for your best player last year? Wow, do you have Lee Mayberry, Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman coming back?He was 1 and done. Smart to keep options open because we don't have room for him anymore.
Not going back anyhow in SEC play with him we were 0/5.You don't have room for your best player last year? Wow, do you have Lee Mayberry, Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman coming back?
so are you saying that most of your fanbase does not have the mental capacity to multitask a couple of message boardsI post here a lot KY is my 2nd favorite team.
And yes our BB forums are dead this time of year because of baseball.
Lacross + rat = dukeWhat does this mean?
Rushing to the NBA does decrease the amount of time until you’re eligible for a 2nd contract. There’s real value to that. It's all about getting that 2nd contract.
So Ian Jackson positioned himself as a pg? We’re we ever involved?Bama will be involved here. St. John's stupidity of promising PG spot to Ian Jackson....he'd have been perfect there. He should return to CBB due to his age-he's very young and has no reason to rush the process.
Could be, but were more of the sport playing school not just basketball. We have the BB forums and a recruiting BB section so more activity on the recruiting right now than the regular.so are you saying that most of your fanbase does not have the mental capacity to multitask a couple of message boards
It just says something about those individuals. They don’t have a life.Yeah, I agree completely about keeping options open. Just wild how other team fans are here so much and so quickly. Not saying it’s wrong, just wild to me. With this board being so active, I guess it makes sense.
That's a true statement and then your opinion I can't dispute either.Rushing to the NBA does decrease the amount of time until you’re eligible for a 2nd contract. There’s real value to that.
But for some players, rushing can also decrease the likelihood of actually securing a lucrative 2nd contract, if you even secure one at all.
So it’s not necessarily wise to think of quickly getting to the NBA as a no brainer decision, if you are a player that legitimately has that 2nd contract as an attainable goal.
In terms of Fland specifically, I’ve not watched enough of him to have an opinion on whether he should stay or go. Hopefully he’s getting sound advice and makes a good decision.
Nah that’s easy. WagnerSorta wish he would've went back to Arkansas. Thinking about who to play between Fland, DJ and Acuff would've made Cal's head explode.
Somehow, Cal has convinced that fanbase that you don’t need a full roster. Arkansas will be a very poor shooting, Freshman talented team that will struggle with any lost game injuries. You don't have room for your best player last year? Wow, do you have Lee Mayberry, Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman coming back?
Far from the best. Lowest FG% on the team at 38%, 4th best 3P % 34.You don't have room for your best player last year? Wow, do you have Lee Mayberry, Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman coming back?
