Basketball recruiting is completely different now and that’s a fact I think we all can agree. In this portal world now we need imo to change our thinking about how we pick our players. Certainly there are gonna be recruits that are not ready for UK in prime time as it where. This is where we need to adjust our thinking. Use the Virginia Techs and other schools as our farm systems in where we keep in touch from a distance and after a year or two bring them here to shine ! That’s the way the portal is working now. The cream of the crop by their 3 rd year and takes a lot of guesswork out of the equation ?
