Ive read about this for years, but I don't see any evidence. Two seasons ago, I could definitely tell he dyed his hair, but even on my big HD TV I don't see any solid evidence. Just looked like a bad dye job. Under the bright lights, it was obvious he dyed it.

I can't imagine any coach sporting a rug in todays high tech world. I think its a rumor, hope you guys can prove me wrong.

can you guarantee he didn't wash the top part of his hair with full body by mitchell and the sides with head and shoulders?

No, you can't.

What happens first? Hair club for men actually starts sprouting grass on that dome, or Kansas finally gets back to the final four? Going on 5 years and counting.

It's more authentic than your bread banners.

I'll give you that.

lol

How cute. Most of us KU fans don't like that those Helms banners hang in AFH and if you watch KU game broadcasts they are never referred to when they mention how many titles we have. It's always 3.

Yea but on the other hand, your administration is looking out for your perceived "blue chip status" and understands the damage to the overall Kansas brand if others, outside of the Kansas program, found out you have 1 less title than Uconn and 1 more than Florida and San Francisco.

Think about ESPN announcing this in 2008

"The Kansas Jayhawks, with championships only rivaled by San Francisco, cincinatti, Florida, and the elite programs, look good this year"

I agree with you totally. All of us college basketball junkies understand how disgustingly pitiful it is to pretend you have championships that you don't, but you gotta Look at it from the other side. Kind of like Self, sure it's hilarious and kind of gross that he's faking the fuzz, but being bald has a host of other issues. He's looking out for the image.

Kansas and Self understand each other quite well. Great fit.

We're in complete agreement and that's some good points.

College basketball means more than National Titles.

Yet at the same time, championships are ALL that matters.

When you reach Kentucky "1958 levels", and catch Uconn, you'll understand.

Kansas is like a little step brother to us. We're rootin for ya.

To those who don't understand the game, championships are all that matters. You wouldn't call UConn a blue blood, but they have more titles than most programs. Contributions to the history of the game, all time wins, coaching trees, performance in the tournament, etc.

And we've come full circle. Thus the reason your administration fakes the collegiate basketball orgrasm called championships.

Hoping for a cure for .S&C

Hoping Kansas catches Uconn before Self regrows hair.

It taints the entire sport when a supposed "elite" program has as many titles as second-rate has beens.

I cut hair for two years and I think it's a rug. Knew a guy who wore a rug and when people asked him if it was his hair, he assured them it belonged to him. Truth of the matter is, it's his hair either way.
