Yes we did. Big East is a fine conference, but context matters. It’s not as simple as, “look at us, we are 2-0 … we must be good.”

the tournament is such a crapshoot. It really is. Lots of good teams don't make it past the first weekend. I am just hoping the Cats are healthy and make us proud. Pope and the players deserve a strong tournament showing, been so many injuries that slowed us down most of the year. Regardless I love where this program is at. I hope Pope turns out to be great enough to retire at Kentucky.
3 of the 7 teams that have played are already out and all three in a blowout or by blowing a massive lead (Texas)

Texas wasn't favored, Georgia wasn't favored and Missouri lost as the favorite.

Creighton did their job taking down Louisville. Now for St. John's to beat Cal/Arkansas Saturday.
