1958, but my favorite team was Rupp's Runts, 1966. they were the best passing team I've ever seen! I started following in earnest in 1957.

Sad thing is that I was so obsessed with wrestling at the time that I kept flipping between the game and Monday Night Raw. It was the night after Mania with Austin and Tyson. In hindsight I wish I had just concentrated on the game

1969-70 Issel, Pratt, Parker, Steele, Mills. They were eliminated by the leading rebounder in the history of college basketball Artis Gilmore, and the Jacksonville Dolphins, after Issel fouled out.

2012 team. A person’s fandom typically peaks when they are young. I think the absolute peak of my fandom was when I was very young in 2005. Loved Rondo and loved Sparks. I balled my eyes out when they lost to Michigan State.

There’s just something indescribable about being a Kentucky fan when you’re at an age to appreciate the sport, but not old enough to even be a teenager yet. You develop a sort of attachment.

2012 is a close second for my fandom I think, and happened while I was in high school. Just an absolute magical year. It was all my school talked about. That team is nowhere close to being the deepest in UK history, but I’d put that starting 5 up against any other UK team ever.

What UK team was the best UK team while you were in High School. The 2004-05 was the best in my high school days. I was a Freshman.

1978 championship team my junior year, got to meet most of them that summer at camp.
