3-4th round when I’ve heard talkings heads mention it.

I agree. I see him as a 3rd and short backDepending on a team's need's or specialty I would say some place between 3rd and 5th round's. He is not fast enough to be a featured back, but is tuff enough to make 3-4 yard's per run..
GBB
Does anyone know how many 3-5round RBs make a team?
I have a friend who is a Seahawks fan say that they were eyeing Baity for a 3rd round pick. And ASoB had an article a few weeks back that Baity was getting some 1st round buzz. He could really help him self with a good combine showing.Walter also has:
-Allen as a 1st rd pick.
-Edwards 3-4th
-Baity as a 4-6th
Of course, once again, Walter is open about being very inaccurate this time of yr.
Snell's long suit is durability and YAC. Those are huge factors to NFL teams that play a grueling 16 game season with only one bye week, plus playoffs if they get there.
There may be faster and "prettier" backs out there but the way they might hold up is always a question.
AS an aside, I hear some people saying he doesn't catch the ball. He hasn't had the ball thrown to him much but the times he has he has made the catch so I'm not sure that criticism stands up.
Yeah, it’s a tough position to stand out. It's hard to tell.
Bo Scarborough often looked unreal in college, is a click or two faster than Benny and almost went undrafted.
I think it depends on his combine. If he runs the 40 under 4.6 2-3, if it's over 4.75 it will be late. He needs to get with one of those speed trainers and work on his starts, his running technique and looser those hamstrings up.
I haven't seen many predictions, but my prediction is he will probably end up being a 4th or 5th round pick.
I agree with you Grumpy.. I think unless he does get a 4.6 or better, he will fall to far and will need to work on it another year. It can be done with a lot of hard work and Benny has a lot of fire inside himself. I myself just don’t think he’s ready for the NFL and to be a Professional!! With all due respect to him, I Would certainly cheer for him if he goes, but he needs to become more mature and work on a few things. If he can work on that speed and gain just a little bit would do wonders an he can get in the 2-3 round. Just my opinion of course. I agree with you 100%, and it really is a shame because he is very talented. I would love to see him become a better blocker also. That could actually make a team give a second look, despite his speed. Still, like you said, working with someone on his technique, would do wonders for his draft stock!! If he can get in the door, with his work ethic, he could end up being a very good one. One more thing, lol. Man, Nick Chubb looks unreal right now. You talk about being with the right place at the right time. I think they hit the jackpot with that young man. Sony also, looks very good. It’s amazing, that with losing two guys like that, without a few injuries, you wouldn’t have been able to tell they were gone. Haha. I really do appreciate the job Kirby is doing there, and he was born for that job. They are fun to watch. I think we’re going to be giving them a good challenge, the next couple of years. ThanksHe has and may still have a fantastic college career depending on what his decision is, But right or wrong the NFL places a premium on his biggest weakness. If he intends to leave, as soon as the bowl game is over the thing for him to do is hire a speed coach, work on his starts, his running technique and flexibility. For whatever reason BS26 has some bad running form. Work on those starts, improve his technique and he can pull a couple 10ths off his 40 time, which could mean the difference between a 2nd round pick and a 6th or 7th round pick. NFL defenses are just too fast for backs to not have decent speed or be very elusive, neither of those are Benny's deal.

It goes a long way of course, but they pay for numbers, and are quick to put a guy on the road for a ‘ bad game ‘ or two. It’s a crazy business. If it was just about heart though, Benny would be top ten in the NCAA. Selfishly, I do want him to come back. It will be a long time until we see another Benny Snell.I don't know what round but a guess would be 4th or 5th. BUT I think that Benny's thinking is, "you draft me and I'll show you".
Determination is just about as important as skill.
Yes, I hated to see him get hurt because I knew he was going to be special. A 90% Nick Chubb was one of the best I’ve saw. Lol. He’s one of my favorite players right now in the League. Such a great guy too. I remember they did that piece on his family, and I felt like one of them. Some of the best people in the world if you ask me. I sure hope he stays healthy, he deserves to get everything he can, and I’m looking forward to seeing, how great he can really be. Anyway, I’ve got the hit another day, and make it wish I stayed in the bed. Hahahaha Thanks and it was good to talk to you.It has taken Nick almost 3 years to come back from that knee injury his soph year. He came back his jr. year and wasn't anywhere near the sa Dra me back, quickness was gone. His sr year was better probably about 90%. But now, what could have been. Nick didn't tear his ACL, he tore the other 3, and no one works harder than he does, was just a devastating injury. .
