Gloat away...you beat UK without our starting QB missing a game the week we played you. Great job.
But if USC is now back with Beamer vs.Muschamp....then why did Arkansas handle you and UGA destroyed you? Are you really back or did you just beat UK (again without our QB1) and it as likely the UK game going forward is likely to be a loss or maybe 50/50 split at best?
I just didn't see an eye opening performance from USC. Special teams is sharper (and Beamer has that history from his dad) and the offense is not terrible but Rattler wasn't that great. And the defense .....let's be honest...a one dimensional UK pretty much ran it all day long. So gloat all you want. But if you get throttled by Tenn, lose to Texas Am and split Vandy/Mizz.....what have you really accomplished this year?
I agree that having Levin out was huge, but what about your D? Maybe your D did have one hand tied behind their backs-esp in the second half.

5 sacks by SC is pathetic. A couple may be on Sheron but the OL doesn't seem to be making much progress. CR would make any OL look better. Take him and Levis out next season, what is going to happen to us offensively?
I doubt you are correct. And uk had it's QB out and had to play a bachup that had attempted ZERO pass attempts in college. The most important position on the field. QB will make it break a team. I know every team has 5 or 10 players out hurt all the time but I think we lead in having the most key players out game in and game out season after season. Seems the teams we play might have a couple of key players out. We can survive this year with key players out in most positions but not WL or CR. Too big of a drop off after those two.

Muschamp is an elite DC, only a bunch of idiots would have hired him to be a head coach, he has multiple NC rings from different schools he was DC. Look, you guys won. Congrats. I think the Levis fiasco made a big difference because of the position he plays, his leadership role, and we had no backup. A lot easier to replace players other than Levis. But, SC won and we have to accept that and move on. I still think we finish above you when it’s all said and done and we move on. I doubt you will visit here during basketball season because we beat you 99% of the time in that sport. I don’t see us winning a NC in football and I don’t EVER see SC winning anything in either sport.

Stoops spent an off-season swinging it around like he was the kings cheese. He deserves any clap backs he gets. Humility made him a fan favorite. He doesn’t wear arrogance well at all. He sure tried too though.

Speaking from personal experience, it can demoralize an otherwise effective defense when the offense proves completely impotent or incompetent. You might hold up for a half, maybe even 3 qtrs, but eventually the mental and physical well runs dry.
