You think we'll see him in the jet sweep this week? I've noticed that Scangarello seems to be different than Coen on play calling.
I’m surprised they didn’t try more screens with himYou think we'll see him in the jet sweep this week? I've noticed that Scangarello seems to be different than Coen on play calling.
His game is speed vs. maneuverability from what I see.I’m surprised they didn’t try more screens with him
Seems like he could be the burner we've been looking for since Badet transferred. His game is speed vs. maneuverability from what I see.
This. We were obviously not trying to show our offense last week. Tune up. We will see some stuff Saturday. Will it work? Don’t know. Depends on the left side of the line.We going to see a lot of plays that were not shown last week
He seems much faster than Badet.Seems like he could be the burner we've been looking for since Badet transferred.
We don't know what Scang is on playcalling yet, because they were playing base vanilla offense last week, he broke out nothing of the real scheme to not put anything on tape for Florida. I love the gamesmanship. Just like us Florida has no clue what to expect from our offense this week. You think we'll see him in the jet sweep this week? I've noticed that Scangarello seems to be different than Coen on play calling.
If Badet was a jet, Brown must be a supersonic jet, and I'm curious to see what Jordan Anthony can do, if all the coaches and players say he's faster than Brown. He seems much faster than Badet.
Thats why I'd like to see them get him on the field for some gadget play touches or maybe even in the backfield with us so thin there right now, just to get that speed on the field and see what he can do with the ball in his hands, especially since he's so far down the WR depth.Brown is more than fast. Watch his tape. He can make cuts no human should be able to make.
As for speed, Anthony posted a 100m time in high school that was 0.35 seconds faster than Brown's best. That is a massive differential for such a short distance. Anthony may be the fastest player in football at any level.
Get the ball in that kids hands as much and as many ways as possible. You think we'll see him in the jet sweep this week? I've noticed that Scangarello seems to be different than Coen on play calling.
Not sure if his speed cares over to football speed. I would say him and Brown would be close. Throw in a Key and you have to love the future. If a QB can’t see what we have and want to play here I don’t know what to tell them!Brown is more than fast. Watch his tape. He can make cuts no human should be able to make.

IF Anthony has legit world class speed I'm not convinced we'll ever see him on the football field. If speed is real he may opt for Olympics which takes a lot of time and training. Lots of money to be made by Olympic athletes.Brown is more than fast. Watch his tape. He can make cuts no human should be able to make.

Brown has elite speed. Anthony has world class speed. Like olympic caliber speed. Are they letting him run track as well?Brown is more than fast. Watch his tape. He can make cuts no human should be able to make.

None of us can tell what Scangarellos play calling will be like after seeing 1 game against a MAC team .You think we'll see him in the jet sweep this week? I've noticed that Scangarello seems to be different than Coen on play calling.
There is a difference for sure. Robinson seems more suited for the screen gameHis game is speed vs. maneuverability from what I see.
True, but what I'm hoping to see us utilize more this game is the flat passes and dump offs to the backs. We did some last week but it was almost as a panic move when Will was under duress. Like to see us have more planned dumps where Will looks downfield for a beat then dumps it off. The wings are hard to defend and where space isNone of us can tell what Scangarellos play calling will be like after seeing 1 game against a MAC team .
On that KO return, at first it looked like he just hit his middle gap then got outside. But watch it a few times and you can see these subtle like cuts that froze the pursuit for just a split second. Awesome.Brown is more than fast. Watch his tape. He can make cuts no human should be able to make.

Could be?Seems like he could be the burner we've been looking for since Badet transferred.
Don't forget Crowdus is a burner too.Not sure if his speed cares over to football speed. I would say him and Brown would be close. Throw in a Key and you have to love the future. If a QB can’t see what we have and want to play here I don’t know what to tell them!
I’ll be interesting to see how our young receivers hold up against press coverage with strong D backs.Brown's a playmaker, no doubt. But don't forget he only weighs about 165, that somewhat limits how he's used.
Guess we'll see if theyre stong or over hyped.I’ll be interesting to see how our young receivers hold up against press coverage with strong D backs.
Brown ran a 10.8 100M in high school. Anthony ran a 10.2 100M. That's world class speed in high school. If Badet was a jet, Brown must be a supersonic jet, and I'm curious to see what Jordan Anthony can do, if all the coaches and players say he's faster than Brown.
WR position is more than running like Gump is all I meant.Could be?
Just as to compare: Usain Bolt has the world record in the 100M at 9.58. Lexington's own Tyson Gay is second at 9.69.Brown ran a 10.8 100M in high school. Anthony ran a 10.2 100M. That's world class speed in high school.
Yep but world class starts at 10.2Just as to compare: Usain Bolt has the world record in the 100M at 9.58. Lexington's own Tyson Gay is second at 9.69.
Interestingly, the difference between those guys and Anthony is the same as the difference between Anthony and Brown. Kinda gets my attention thinking of it that way.Just as to compare: Usain Bolt has the world record in the 100M at 9.58. Lexington's own Tyson Gay is second at 9.69.
The fastest US runner in the 100 is Lyle's. Anthony's best 100 in HS is .01 off Lyles best. I think Lyles ran the fastest time in the world last yearYep but world class starts at 10.2
Most teams can kick it through the end zone on kickoffs. Don’t be surprised after he returned one he gets almost zero returnable balls.
Brown was clocked at 22mph on that kickoff return.
They did hold back. You will see a less vanilla approach and a few exotic plays thrown in. We also didn't throw to the backs as much as we know that this is a heavy RB touch in the passing game system. I don't remember a single pass to a RB in the game. At least not a completion. McClain did have a drop but that was the only attempt I can remember.I’m surprised they didn’t try more screens with him
Smoke caught two passes and Wright caught one. They did hold back. You will see a less vanilla approach and a few exotic plays thrown in. I know the tight ends had to help block, but Utah had a lot of success with their tight ends against Florida, Kentucky needs to find ways to get upshaw, and Cummings the ballThey did hold back.
