Bamba in 2017 class

Are we after this kid? He is about 6'11 with an 87" wingspan. Pretty good player from what little I have read. Anyone with any info?

Some think he winds up at Duke because he's also an outstanding student but UK is up there. Everybody wants him.

I really don't know who we are going to key in on in the 17 class. There's a lot of buzz about Vanderbilt. I know we're in Ayton's top 3. But otherwise it's cloudy. This time last year we were getting Simmons & Bridges and had no inkling we'd get Bam & Gabriel. Cal kinda has the luxury of waiting and seeing who he really wants before going all out, like with Fox.

Yes. This kid is a beast. We need to land him bad. I'm hoping for a class of Ayton, Bamba, Trent Jr., Young, and 2 of Duval, Porter, Vanderbilt, Brown, Petty, and Diallo. I want Porter bad but he's probably a Dook boy. I think we'll get 5-6 in this class and I feel we will get Ayton, Bamba, Trent Jr., and Young. And the other 2 will probably be Vanderbilt and Duval. Plus we'll have SKJ, Mathews, Humphries, and Wynyard coming back. So that'd be a really good team. But really young. It'd be nice if we could add another shooter like Mitchell Ballock but I doubt it happens and Trea Young and Trent Jr. are supposed to be really good 3pt shooters. Ayton and Bamba would be a lethal combo. 2 big, long, athletic, above the rim bigs.
