Yeah, marijuana definitely isn't used to help with cancer, alzheimer's, Parkinson's, depression, etc. How many cases of cancer have you seen caused by marijuana use? Stay in my lane? Adorable.True . Inhaling smoke of any kind into your lungs is perfectly healthy. Fact. PS you might want to stay in your lane
I would ten fold rather work with someone smoking weed than drinking alcohol. But alcohol isn't illegal, is it?So you think employers just have anti-drug policies in place for shits and giggles? Of course marijuana has adverse effects on you. I've worked with people who were clearly under the influence of pot. That can get people killed around machinery.
False. Also, spoken like a true pothead. What constitutes weed abuse? Lol. You could smoke every day and it wouldn't have a single adverse effect on you.
If being stupid every day doesn't count as an adverse effect, maybe you're right. What constitutes weed abuse? Lol. You could smoke every day and it wouldn't have a single adverse effect on you.
Cool story bro. I haven't smoked weed in over a decade. I'm just not an idiot, like you.False. Also, spoken like a true pothead.
Funny, I know plenty of professional athletes who smoke weed daily and still perform at the top level. I don't smoke, but I've seen it positively affect far more people than the opposite. If being stupid every day doesn't count as an adverse effect, maybe you're right.
Also, any other drug and I would 100% agree, including alcohol. But marijuana has an endless amount of positives, compared to negatives.False. Also, spoken like a true pothead.
I know someone who hangs with monk often and said he smokes alll the time.
No doubt. Degenerates, I tell ya.After reading these type threads, it's easy to find the pothead posters.
It is to keep insurance rates down. INSURANCE is king of this country. So you think employers just have anti-drug policies in place for shits and giggles? Poisoning ?Yep, and Colorado has a crisis with kids consuming that stuff and ending up in the hospital. Last statistic was a 200 to 400% increase in poisonings since it was made legal.
It's no different than any other legal drug in use. If used properly (medical marijuana/alcohol/opioids) can all be beneficial. If used improperly or abused, they can do physical and/psychological damage. Weed is not as nearly as harmless as many portray it nor as dangerous as many paint it. It all depends on how and why it is used. Same as alcohol....two beers a day, no problem.....12 beers a day.....you got issues.Funny, I know plenty of professional athletes who smoke weed daily and still perform at the top level. I don't smoke, but I've seen it positively affect far more people than the opposite.
Poisoning ?
Poison can KILL you. There has NEVER been a documented death from an OD of pot.Just quoting the medical community who have to deal with all the problems and it isn't just children, family pets are being poisoned as well. (Just one quick reference I found below. There are many more.)
"Young children have been poisoned by swallowing medical marijuana. Some have needed treatment in an intensive care unit."

Plus, M2W, "coordinated enough" is a gross understatement. God took all the athletic traits most beneficial to a basketball 2G and gifted them squarely to Monk. I've never seen a more athletically gifted 2G playing at UK.so answer this if monk had FAS how was he 6’3” and 190 pounds and coordinated enough to play basketball and dunk the ball multiple times a game in high school?
Reading this thread, good Lord. You don’t get suspended for weed. You get suspended for blow, PEDS, or messing with the test. Usually with PEDS they don’t give you an “indefinite” suspension on first pop.
They don't suspend you indefinitely for weed. You'd have to fail like 100 drug tests for weed before the NBA would even suspend you a few games. What makes you say that? I read the article but it didn’t allude to what type of drug it was or wasn’t.

Honestly the guy probably had a little too much fun over the allstar break. I highly doubt hes this coke head like some of you are implying.
Ah yes you can judge a persons drug of choice by watching them play basketball on the TV. You should start a business. Its not weedI don't see it being anything other than weed.
Tyreke evans last yearI've never seen a suspension without an end date. Does it happen often?
Just going to add prescription drugs to that list.100%. If they suspended players indefinitely for smoking pot they’d have to shut down the league.

There’s a sign in Cleveland that says would you eat pretzels if they were sprinkled with fentanyl. I never fully understood the question because who turns down pretzels?Powdered donuts make me go nuts, but amphetamine salt combo makes me mambo.
I mean I'd probably try one. lolThere’s a sign in Cleveland that says would you eat pretzels if they were sprinkled with fentanyl. I never fully understood the question because who turns down pretzels?

What about a hot dog?Personally, I would not eat a pretzel with fentanyl on it.

I love when the guy with the ultra defensive post says things like "snowflake" and " didnt mean to hurt your feelings" keep projectingYou could start your own business. Talking out of both sides of your ass. You’re doing the same thing. Love your tone by the way snowflake. Didn’t mean to hurt your feelings
