Bad C-rod news ...potentially

Agree ...I don’t like ‘source at UK ‘ tho ..apparently they’re comfortable enough with the source

Any idea what’s up ? An official ‘legal ‘ issue should have some sort of record or report ...unless it’s some kind of civil matter

I read that earlier. I have no idea who they are, who wrote it or anything else. Arrest records are public. I think this is a bunch of bs.

Some kid named Matt Sak, a UK undergrad does the podcasts. I'll worry about this if and when I see someone with real connections telling us about these other "legal" issues.

Couldn’t help but notice there was no byline; i.e, anonymously posted. Hope C-Rod is able to play but having said that he has to be held accountable for his actions .
UK students I'm pretty sure. The podcasts are done by UK students, one writes for the Kernel. Again, I'll wait to see something real on this before I get concerned.

It’s either ‘accusations‘ or civil . Criminal stuff would’ve been dug up by now by some media

I actually do not know the specifics. I just know that apparently the situation, whatever it is definitely warrants concern at this point. Just saying, Justin wouldn't just throw something out there if there isn't merit to it.
True and thanks

C Rod is arguably the best player in the program since Josh Allen and Benny Snell. Would be hard to believe, imo, that Wright replaces him one-for-one.
I didn't say he would "replace him", just that he will be good enough to make it less impactful.
Wright is not CRod
Where in my post did I say he would? Just that he will help ease the pain from his loss.

Feel like McClain Wright and Drennen will be fine if CRod is gone. Can’t believe how much of an idiot he was. Threw away the chance at being UKs all time leading rusher and being a mid round NFL draft pick just because he couldn’t get an Uber or show up to court

Maybe! Here's why I don't think so and we can agree to disagree on if that's the case...

BLIND TASTE TEST RUNNING BACK EDITION

Player 1: Averaged 6.4 yards per carry his last two seasons at Kentucky.

Player 2: Averaged 5.04 yards per carry his last two seasons at Kentucky.

Player 1 is CRod and Player 2 is Snell. If we lost Snell for some shenanigans I think we would all consider it a big loss, and I think CRod's loss would be just as big and maybe bigger.

...

(I think one could reasonably argue CRod had a worse offensive line in 2021 and 2020 relative to Snell's offensive line in 2017 and 2018. There's some players that cut across both that cancel each other out. Also, CRod put up those 2020 numbers against all SEC competition due to the COVID season. Snell's numbers reflect UofL and MAC defenses.)

No doubt C Rod is one of the best RB's to ever play here. But with the type of offense we are going to run this season and the return of his fumbling. we will have RB's that may be better fits for this offensive scheme. Chris could be a force if he can continue to catch the football and hold onto it, but if he isn't going to do what it takes to stay eligible, we need to move on.

And I HATE saying this!!

Think it's early June but when specifically do UK players report for summer?
Weekend of June 11th will be the move in date for most, I believe. UK handles summer sessions different post-COVID (use to be a four week session in May, and then a six week session starting in June that athletes would report for) with rolling four and six week classes across May to mid-August.

CROD >>> Snell

If things are so bad I'd expect it to be public soon. He might not have any other choice than submit to NFL supplemental draft. Well too late to portal & play elsewhere in 2022.

Would suck if we lose him, hope we don't. If we do, let's let our projected 1st round QB throw it most of the time.

Not sure if CatBen was being serious or facetious but I'm a huge Wright fan. Was concerned with the CRod coming back he may bolt for earlier playing time somewhere so glad he stuck it out and if given the chance will show what he can do.

That said I've alwasy said I thought CRod was better than Benny and was poised to have a big time year. That and the fact our new OC thought he was perfect for his offense makes me really hoping this all works out for him
