Bruce will not have this level of the team in the next few years. This is probably best chance for him to grab a champion
Without looking, maybe one of the best offensives we've seen in a long long time.
Top 25 in effective FG%, turnover % and offensive rebounding %.
So they make a bunch of shots and when they don't they get the rebound and then make the shot lol.
Their offensive dominance might actually underrate their defense when a game is on the line.
Because they score so easily and get up by big margins, they could be prone to slacking on D for an insignificant number of possessions. Why ramp that defensive intensity to a 10/10 when you are up big and scoring with ease?
Sorry but AUB is no Blueblood. 1 FF and zero titles all time doesn't earn that label. Get a grip. Just because they've been good lately doesn't get it. It's about sustainability.
Hold on a second. I never said I hated him and as much as I like UK and every UK sport I’m not into any conspiracy about him or anyone at this point. I learned a long time ago that life’s too short. Years ago I would have been throwing out facts to defend my comments. Too old for that now. I’m just saying he’s immoral and UK doesn’t need that. I’m a UK fan for life but this whole Triple C, ex UK players now Arkansas players, Arkansas basketball in general and Reed Shepperd stuff is garbage and anything said in a positive light about Pearl is just crazy.
Pearl has caught lightning in a bottle with this team. I have watched him since his Division II days and liked or hated he is a hell of a good coach.
I get it, I agree for the most part. All I’m saying is I think his “reputation” is far worse than his crime. When you look at the verifiable evidence of things he has done there’s not much to it. He had a bbq and he was a snitch? I honestly can’t think of anything else. That was my point. He has been built into a far worse villain I think than his actions have merited.
We have not won very much in last few years. Are we in danger of losing the Blueblood status? How often do you need to win a championship? UCLA has lost their Blueblood status even with what Wooden did. I am not suggesting, just asking because I have no idea the answer.
We've been one of the top SEC programs the last 7-8 years or so. Arguably top 10-12 in overall in the nation the same span. Definitely not a blueblood lol but we're becoming and have been a solid basketball program.
This. With the team they have, anything less than an FF is a failure.
