Auburn Series

I'm planning to go to at least the first half of tonight's game with the basketball game on my phone.

IMO, this is a critical series that we must win at home if we have designs on returning to the NCAAT.

Bad luck with Auburn basketball in town, as I expect that they will have more fans than usual at KPP. Gonna be chilly tonight...

Total f****** debacle tongiht. UK had the game won, played well to lead 7-6 in the 9th. Hit the leadoff batter (the theme of the night as I believe auburn scored in every inning in which their leadoff batter was aboard). Managed to get two outs with the runner on second. Auburn hits a bloop fly to left that (arguably) should have been caught. Instead it gets by Hage and they tie the game. The next batter hits the laziest infield pop fly you've ever seen and Tyler Ball simply drops it. Auburn wins the game 8-7. Sickening, and I already have a bad feeling that we're cooked this year.

Sadly he dropped because he wanted to look cool catching it off to the side and shoulder level.

This team is absolutely dreadful.

Reminds me so much of the team a few years ago that was completely undone by the pitching.
An SEC team will go nowhere when you can’t throw strikes, hit batters and uncork wild pitches at a rate that would make 10 year olds cringe.

I get a Spring off from this team.
