I have been a fan that has been critical of our staff, the lack of impressive game planning, the seeming inability to scheme effectively, and to a lesser extent the on-field performance of some of our athletes. Having owned
my own critiques, what positives can this fan take from a 58 to 10 victory?????
1. The staff utilized our FB as a battering ram
2. The staff themselves stayed-out-of-their-own-way
3. The team came out of the skirmish with a victory, (a blow-out)
4. Running backs performed as you would want
5. Drew Barker led the team to the blow-out win
6. The much maligned Off. Line blocked well enough for the team to accumulate 400+yds
7. The staff gave Jo Jo an opportunity to demonstrate his skill-set
8. Although Barker did not have the impressive stat achievement that some wanted, his numbers were positive! As the QB, he did what was needed for the W
9. The staff did not demonstrate that they were a "________ fire drill"
10. We got the W, & yes in a blow-out manner, something we did not do in the LLU, & EKU games!!!!!
