Arky-Bama

That may have been the worst defense I’ve ever seen in that layup. He walked that in untouched by the dbag who turned it over too.

Ironically for SEC seeding purposes if we knew we were going to win then we would be rooting for Bama to win (and Auburn to win) to cancel out if SC would win to get the 2 seed.

If we knew we were going to lose today then we want Alabama to lose so we get at least the 4 seed instead of the 5 seed.

We just need Bama to lose period.

These teams blow.

Alabama blows a little less than Arkansas for obvious reasons so bama 100% lock here.

I'll tell yah though.. it's pretty clear Arkansas is better than their record would say. I could see them making the Semis in the SECT.. maybe further.

SEC officiating at its finest!

Actually makes me feel slightly more sane watching this game. Refs were calling everything on ‘Bama. Fans and Oats started complaining, now the Tide can hold and hand check at will. Basically have to tackle someone to get called for a foul.

It be ironic if Alabama lost and then we won and it cost us the SEC #2 seed and we were forced into the #3 seed and that damn late game in the SEC tournament (which would happen if SC won)

Not only did Bama get away with an over the back on that one play they actually reversed a call during the timeout and gave them the ball back. Typical SEC officiating.
Typical officiating period- officials have just become terrible, in college and the NBA- watched the last few minutes of Twolves-Cavs game last night and I disagreed with almost every call they made

State will be scar today. They are desperate and have to win for the tourney

Arkansas should just hunt Nelson every play

Good in theory, I agreem but being what I've seen over the last decade of SEC officiating, I actually think it back fires. I think the SEC isn't going to let a guy like that foul out when Alabama needs this win (arky doesnt). You'd be better off going against someone else honestly.

True, but Nelson can’t guard anybody to begin with, he just has length to make up for blocks. There is no reason that battle should not have the ball in his hands.

I got laughed at by some for my Arkansas takes. Might have to reopen those threads.

Also, if they close this game out, their metrics over the last few weeks will probably have them around 40 to 50th during that time. They aren't currently in the 70s over this time on Bartovik.

They are playing substantially better than they were in the 1st half of the year and early SEC play. I'd like to avoid them in the SECT
