if you’ve been a starter on a cal team for 3 years doesn’t this undermine the whole reason you chose to play for him in the first place? is he suddenly happy you’re still around? i guess in this case he is. had a ready made team and still can’t win consistently.

They started playing better because Cal was feeling heat bad enough to put his best players on the floor. As much as I hate to admit it, their record would be much better if Z had been in the starting lineup when the season started.

Fland getting injured was the best thing that could happen to them. Nelly Davis has been revived and they don't have the depth for Cal to pull guys after one mistake. Big Z couldn't play 2 minutes without getting captain hook'd, now he's scoring 27 against the new No. 1 team in the country.

I would take him any day. A good coach should be able to hide his defensive deficiencies.

Nobody really cares about college basketball anyways other than the first 2 days of the ncaa tourney. Not disagreeing ratings won't be good if that slim chance matchup happens thoigh.

Ratings are great when team like us, UNC, Duke, KU, etc make it deep in the tourney. Problem is that hasn't happened a lot lately. That Duke-UNC FF game was pretty highly watched if I recall. Cinderellas are great up until about the E8. Then no one cares.

And if it's basically two football schools going for the title, no one will really care for sure.
