Their bar is super low right now. This will be exciting for them. Then in a couple of years it’s just disappointment that final fours didn’t happen.

I also question that after this season if he still pulls the top class.

I bet they have some success. Cal is going to be focused and trying to prove he’s still got it. The real test is a year or two down the road. Does he revert back to the POS he currently is or does he somehow maintain that high level he was once capable of?

We already know the answer.

The first couple of years will be happy times for them. Cal will be focused on proving people wrong and so he will perform well. I don't look forward to playing them.

This whole thing has played out before. Memphis fans warned us that by the time Cal left we would all hate him. Umass fans said the same. The man is a ego vampire that feeds off of programs.

I have wanted them. They have stars in their eyes. I’m like this isn’t the Cal of 2009 guys.

No amount of NIL or talent will make him coach better. He will still get wrecked when his freshman go cold and he gets tight. That feeling won’t go away because he’s wearing a different shirt.

Honestly, outside of the 9-16 fiasco, Cal could have the same 4 years he’s had here the last 4 seasons and he’ll be fine at Arkansas. They act like they are an elite program but the majority of their fans would be happy to win the recruiting battle and get bounced out early in the tournament, playing well for about 3-4 weeks. They beat UK once in a while and they would be gassed.
