Are you surprised one of the 3 players Cal offered last week

This isn't like last season where we had such star guards like Fox and Monk.Green and Diallo are solid but I don't expect them to be stars right away.So I think one of the 3 will get some PT for sure.

I know videos are what they are but with the way Fox started the season with his bad shooting, I can see Diallo, with a year under his belt being as good as Fox or maybe better early. Now will he improve like Fox did, that is the question, now his speed and quickness are very similar.

Ideally we add a Bamba , a guard and a SF . My hope is Bamba , Smith and Johnson for those 3 spots but at the very worst we need to add bamba and one of the 2 guards . Johnson and KNox aren't at a spot for dire need but it would be nice to add one of the SF.

I would take all 3 if we could get them. Johnson is a 40% 3 pt 6'7 sg. Baker and smith are also excellent shooters. I don't care where they are ranked if they are excellent shooters they will get playing time. They will get to play right away as well since we are thin at guard. Johnson would be the most ideal since he has 2 years of eligibility and is 6'7 but I would love to have baker/ smith because they are dead eye shooters and are 4 star players as welll. Add 2 or 3 of them and bamba and we are sitting pretty for next yr. the picture of Knox in a mizz uni says it all. I hope he goes that despite unc and puke. Kermit and daffy maybe doubling up on the viagra if we get atleast 2 of the 3 land bamba and bam returns. That would be incredible

Cameron Johnson would start at the 3 from day 1 and get over 30mpg. He is a 6'8" ASSASSIN with 2 years experience starting and scoring double digits at a major program while playing excellent defense.

Johnson as a JR is a much better player than Briscoe coming back as a JR and I don't think that it is even close.

If we get Johnson and Bamba, I will not fret who we lost for one minute.

Green, Diallo, Johnson, Bamba, and Richards with Vanderbilt, WG, Washington, Hump, Shai, and SKJ is the #1 team in the country from day 1. Every position would have CRAZY depth except for PG. So many 6'6"-6'10" "POSITIONLESS" players...

hasn't jumped on the offer yet? I really thought one of them would have taken the offer by now. Am I expecting too much?
I think they really are evaluating what their role would be & where they fit. It's the decision of a lifetime. It's not everyday that UK comes knocking at your door...

I love Cal's recruiting model, but it isn't perfect. It isn't without faults.

IMO, this area is one of the faults.. the 4-star sub50 recruits. Sure, one of these guys may get some minutes this year because we are SO thin at the guard spots.. But what about the following year? Will they be recruited over? If they don't have true NBA aspirations, will they see quality minutes? It seems these guys are a little skeptical.

Cal has yet to figure out how to integrate the 3 or 4 year player. To be honest, I'm not sure it's possible when you're getting 4-6 top25 guys every year.

Knox would make Mizzou a worthy opponent for Kentucky.. Not good enough to be a threat in the SEC.. But a good test.

And UNC/Duke sans Knox, keeps them outside of true contenders for next year. In Duke's case.. They really need him or it's gonns be a loooong ACC slate.

Knox going to Mizz is a win in my book. Really don't think he was coming here with all our front court players.

No. Im guessing he already knows and is waiting until visits, whos leaving, etc
