Are you concerned that the offense seemed to stall w/out Ulis?

Last season Ulis missed some time at the beginning of the year for shin splints. Not sure how much time he did miss or if he would have missed it at all had we not had Andrew but if they reared their ugly head again it would be nice to know that our plan B had some experience. So while your reply was witty it completely overlooks the very real possibility of Ulis missing time. He has shown himself to be extremely tough but Shin Splints are very painful.

Extremely painful. Had them during one season and felt like both my legs were broken. Hopefully they don't return this year. IMO Ulis is the one player we must have on the floor. He is our QB and the straw that stirs the drink.

Not worried that when possibly the top point guard in the country goes out that the offense takes a step back when a true freshman with 3 games under his belt.

I am concerned that we don't suck it up and play through it enough so the regression isn't so steep with 25 games in but it is going to probably be there to some degree or another, Ulis is playing point guard at another level not only a legitimate player of the year candidate but the best blend of command of and ability at the position at UK seen in decades.

To be much concerned either greatly underappreciate what Tyler is doing or to have absurd expectations for Briscoe for this point in his development or both.

Briscoe probably grows into the role as the season goes along. We are making progress and may be a little better at this point than some thought we might be.If we have "Camp Cal" this year I can see players like Briscoe,Skal ,Humphries and maybe even Wynyard making big strides at that time
