For some reason, I don't hate Tennessee as much anymore. I think Rick Barnes is a good guy.
Who do you pull for when UK isn’t playing?Don't see how any UK fan can pull for any other sec team.. Its weird..🤷🏻♂
I mean.. 2 SEC teams have to win today...Don't see how any UK fan can pull for any other sec team.. Its weird..🤷🏻♂
Nobody..Who do you pull for when UK isn’t playing?
Don't mean gotta pull for them..I mean.. 2 SEC teams have to win today...
Well put. Rooting interest for me at this point is purely based on potential future seedlines and matchups. You root for Florida to beat Alabama. You root for Auburn to beat Tennessee.
We're a 3 seed. We'll see a 2 seed in the Sweet 16. As it stands, the 2 seeds are Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan St., and St. John's.
Because we've now played Alabama 3 times, we CANNOT see them until the Elite 8. That's hard rule, not a preference that they'll forego due to the # of SEC teams. They're easily our worst matchup of the 2 seeds. As long as they're a 2 seed, we just won't be in their region.
If Alabama moves up to a 1, that will push Florida down to a 2 seed. We could then see Florida in the Sweet 16. As long as Alabama stays a 2, we're looking at Michigan State, St. John's, or a Tennessee team we've beaten twice.
It’s gotten easier to let go of SEC allegiance with the addition of all these non-sec teams as well. Once you start not caring about 4-5 teams…it’s easy to not care about the conference success as a whole.Hell no. Screw them both.
I used to pull for SEC teams to win against other competition, but now I pull for them to lose every game they play. The league has played us even after we carried this craphole conference for years. Screw the SEC and any team that isn't UK.

Mazarra from auburn could take care of that, but you might have to wait till Sunday.I just want Philon to eat an elbow today and for all 4 teams beat each other up, also the officials need to stop protecting Sears, he manipulates the officials in every game he plays, it’s so obvious to everyone else.
I believe yes. Because we've only seen 1 team 3 times. There aren't a lot of 3 time matchups, even with all the teams making the tournament. Will the commitee be able to keep that conference avoidance guidance to all sweet 16 and elite 8 scenarios with the SEC getting 13 or 14 teams in. Seems like they would have to juggle things like crazy to pull that off
