Are we cheering for Tenn and Florida?

I mean, if it were Barnes vs Oats or Golden then sure (given their history it's an obvious choice).

But would I want Tennessee to ever get a Final Four or championship? Hell no. Not that I think they will, anyway.

pulling for someone isn't being a fan of them, pearl is unlikable and his players and the dirtiness makes me especially this year hope they lose. The belt thing was the nail in the coffin. Also Oates shoved a Missouri player, played a kid who was accessory to murder and think his team is superior, while we are without 2 of our starters. Oates like Pearl teaches his players to flop too. I hope Alabama and auburn lose this year definitely.

I'll be cheering against Oats and the flopping little chin whisker goof Sears.
Against Mazara and John👁.
Against ziegler and all UT fans.
And against Clayton and Condon and the enforcer Chinosomething.

Whoever wins today and tomorrow wins. Not rooting for anyone. Focus now is finding out who we play next and potential path to F4. Since it can’t be us, don’t give a hoot who wins SECT now.

I just want Philon to eat an elbow today and for all 4 teams beat each other up, also the officials need to stop protecting Sears, he manipulates the officials in every game he plays, it’s so obvious to everyone else.

You root for Florida to beat Alabama. You root for Auburn to beat Tennessee.

We're a 3 seed. We'll see a 2 seed in the Sweet 16. As it stands, the 2 seeds are Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan St., and St. John's.

Because we've now played Alabama 3 times, we CANNOT see them until the Elite 8. That's hard rule, not a preference that they'll forego due to the # of SEC teams. They're easily our worst matchup of the 2 seeds. As long as they're a 2 seed, we just won't be in their region.

If Alabama moves up to a 1, that will push Florida down to a 2 seed. We could then see Florida in the Sweet 16. As long as Alabama stays a 2, we're looking at Michigan State, St. John's, or a Tennessee team we've beaten twice.

Hell no. Screw them both.

I used to pull for SEC teams to win against other competition, but now I pull for them to lose every game they play. The league has played us even after we carried this craphole conference for years. Screw the SEC and any team that isn't UK.

Well put. Rooting interest for me at this point is purely based on potential future seedlines and matchups.

It’s gotten easier to let go of SEC allegiance with the addition of all these non-sec teams as well. Once you start not caring about 4-5 teams…it’s easy to not care about the conference success as a whole.

I will not cheer for any SEC school. Hate them all. Their fans loathe us, their teams hate us, their coaches despise us. Their whole seasons are often times defined by beating us. They throw things at us. Why would I cheer for “SEC.” F them all. Hope they all lose every game.

Will the commitee be able to keep that conference avoidance guidance (played twice or three times already) to all sweet 16 and elite 8 scenarios with the SEC getting 13 or 14 teams in. Seems like they would have to juggle things like crazy to pull that off.

Mazarra from auburn could take care of that, but you might have to wait till Sunday.

I believe yes. Because we've only seen 1 team 3 times. There aren't a lot of 3 time matchups, even with all the teams making the tournament.
