Very satisfying result. Lincoln Riley is one of the most unlikable coaches in CFB. Smarmy guy who wins because he has never faced a defense until the postseason.

Tulane played not to lose and that’s the way you have to play to upset teams and win games like this. Stoops needs to take notes….
Tulane from 2 wins last season to 12 this one greatest turnaround ever. They have a good staff and some great players. Was a fun game to watch.

He falls into the Jimo class of coaches for me. If you want to leave that's fine but don't recruit players to go with you, which is tampering. And still managed to lose 3 games. He probably isn't real excited about joining the big10 either.
I’m sure they are ok with it at the moment. It’s better than where they were by miles. That being said, it won’t be long before they get unsettled if they don’t produce in the postseason and things are about to take a step up with the big 10 move
Tulane in the CFP would be something in a couple of years. Hoping KY can make a similar run and get in!

As a SC fan , I will say that I am thrilled with the hire ( especially compared to Clay Helton ) If , and I do mean IF . Riley ever figures out how to hire a DEFENSIVE coach ------ look out.
Lincoln to defense is what Stoops is on offense. Polar opposites.
Just think if brother Bob had stayed away- Lincoln would have been our OC! Probably not for long - but a Stoops defense with a Riley offense!!!!!!

I’d say they’re pretty happy with it. They just won a Heisman, was in the conference title game, and came close to making the playoff. That’s just Year one.
Tulane also beat K-State on their house. Special Green Wave squad this season.
