Wow. I’ve defended Hagans on here tonight. Not his play but the fact that I would welcome him back next year. But if (IF) this is true, I wouldn’t mind to see him leave and I’d go after a high level grad transfer guard for next year. No excuse for that type of entitlement and insubordination.

With the way Ashton has played lately, something is definitely going on with him. He is struggling in every phase of the offense and tonight I noticed him trying to steal the ball then when he came up empty just let his man drive to the goal with out any type of recovery.
So, between the exchange with Nick and then this incident with Cal, our PG needs to do some serious soul searching for himself and the team. Cal also has got to figure out what to do about Ashton from here on out.

I told my dad on Sunday I think Hagans problem has been the emergence of Quickley. It makes sense when he started struggling and now all the more selfish acts that are coming out. Not a good look at all for him right now.
Hagans is clearly the problem. Thats disappointing.
Hagans should expect to be benched after bad plays. Just like everybody else.
Maxey has looked good running the point the last 2 games. Don't know if that has anything to do with it but Ashton doesn't have the strangle hold on that position he's had for the better part of 2 years all the sudden.
Most of us that pay attention have known something has been going on with Hagans. It could be family or girlfriend issues, but I’ll bet it’s the fact that his poor play is causing panic about his draft status. He seems to be checking out a bit. That’s probably why Cal has gone out of his way to praise rather than criticize him. Doesn’t appear to be working if this stuff is true.

Another thing I noticed tonight with Ashton is that there were several times where he had an opportunity to pass the ball to Maxey and he didn't. I don't know if that was intentional or just me.
Also, he forced shots when he could have passed it to Nick on the base line or at the rim. Nick just wasn't the same tonight in the second half and I don't know if was because of Ashton, but something was amiss with him too.

As a Millennial I can attest. But it has to to with our parents raising us with a “Trophy for everybody” mentality.
Cal always said he would never be handcuffed again...but will he play Juzang instead? Can he? Can we win that way?

I remember almost being ran off this board last year for bashing hagans. I'm fine with that...but if this is true I think he should kicked off the damn team...he already cost us a final 4 last year
