Anyone else feel cursed as a UK fan?

Far from garbage team
His team is full of loaded athletic slashers.
If you can't see past how the sec and the refs holds teams down that's on you.
They showed what they can do in rupp. It's no surprise really
I agree, Arkansas is far from a garbage team, they are very athletic, and have exceeded beyond what their archaic coach could have ever donel

We were cursed having him as our coach.
Don't forget 2012. Those type of seasons don't grow on trees. It has been 13 years and counting. Anytime a coach delivers a Championship, it hard to make chop liver out of him. I appreciate the trophy Cal delivred to Lexington and let's hope can do the same. A ton of really good coaches never achieve the Championship dream. We have been blessed to have 8 but only 4 since 1958. the is 4 in last 67 years or one every 16+ years. Cal beat our averagely winning one in 15 years. I think we just need to say thanks and let Cal ride off into a sunset.

This feels like a troll thread. But I guess I’ll go along.

No. Kentucky is still playing when most other Blue Bloods are out. Why would I feel cursed?

Calipari was a lazy fraud at Lexington for the last five years. Does anyone wish he was still with Kentucky?

Arkansas is, was and always will be a second-or-third tier program. Any Kentucky fan who ever feels any jealousy of anything they do is a sad sack.

Calipari took Fland, Wagner, Thiero, Knox, Richmond and Ivisic from Kentucky and kept the crème of Arkansas’ team. How could anyone realistically think Pope could arrive in late April with ZERO players and the best of the portal already locked up and assemble a better team? This was a one-year huge advantage for Cal.

That Pope had a much better regular season than Calipari speaks to his promise and how much Cal is washed up.

Whatever happens tomorrow, I’ll still be a Kentucky basketball fan. That’s a hell if a lot better thing to be than an Arkansas Razorback fan.

We suffered the last 5 years with Cal and now a sweet 16 with a garbage team.
I dislike Cal as much or more than anyone, but to suggest that his team is garbage is simply not true. They won today because Cal started his best players and stayed out of their way. You didn't see him playing head games with his players and trying to make it all about him. The team is very talented and if he stays out of the way, the team could make it to the final 4. His team has the right blend of old and young instead of all one-and-done players. Based on the way his wife was crying, it seems like the tourney not just the NBA means something.

He was a 10 seed.
He beat a 2 seed. Cal is a good coach, he just got caught up and enamored with one & done kids that is not a formula that wins championships. I bet he gets away from the one year kids going forward. I'm glad we have Pope but to continue to act like he had a trash team this year is just not true. The Fland kid's return from injury has given that team a whole new look just like if we had been healthy all year we would have looked totally different. We play Arkansas in their house next year and I do not look forward to that game. We may win but it most likely will not be a beatdown.
