He was in the D-League last year. Not this year though?

When I see some of these NBA rosters, I'm baffled as to why he and Marquis aren't somewhere.

Lamb is a crazy talented shooter, but not an athlete. So if you're like Lamb, meaning you have just so-so size for your position and you're a poor athlete, then you'd better have one skill that you are a monster at (which he does), and you'd better dedicate yourself to the craft of that one thing.... but Doron also had maybe the worst work ethic of any player in the Cal era.

For Marquis, I have no idea. The kid has a great body, great athleticism and speed, seemed to work hard towards the end of his time here, was a good defender, generally took care of the ball (again, in the second half of the season)..

Was never gonna be a leading scorer, but as much as any former cat we've ever had, I'm amazed he didn't stick. I guess one explanation is that this is currently the deepest the NBA has ever been at the point guard position - so while on paper, he should be at least a solid backup for life, he just might not make the cut at this point in time.
