I don’t recall exactly what happened on the play… just that he went down hard, and did not get up for a long time. Was he thrown down? Was it a basketball play or a typical dirty ass SEC “physical play”?

He hurt his shoulder in TAM game. It was same game where he hurt his knee and got kicked in the face.

Below is an image...couldn't find the video but it was 100% that game.

I'm pretty sure he separated it and popped back in. Have experience there and that will take weeks to improve...especially if he has a mild tear in labrum.

Shit… he looks like he’s crying in that picture. The top one where Carr and Jax are consoling him. He’s obviously really upset in that moment. I think something bad is about to be announced, unfortunately.

Well if he did tear his labrum nothing will help that besides rest and treatment or surgery.

Playing through something like that is only possible with off arm but I promise you it would hurt to dribble. It would be incredibly uncomfortable, especially vs high level competition.

I had a mild tear in mine and it healed without surgery but I didn't touch a weight for 3 months after.

Pure speculation on my part but to me it looked odd when he went down and a separated shoulder would certainly be sore for a few weeks at minimum, even without a tear you'd lose stability and mobility of joint.

It started in the A&M game on the play where he got kicked in the face. He landed hard on that shoulder and then while he was down got kicked. When he got up he held his shoulder. Then later on he came back in and blocked a shot with his left hand and was really holding it after that. Seems like it hasn’t been right since.

It was embarrassing the level of abuse they let him take in that game. Officials letting a game get that physical now really impacted our season. Ridiculous.

Yes... It's easy for me, after that Texas A n M game, to be happy for any misfortune that comes their way. It's not basketball... It's literally beating a team into submission physically. They don't foul making a basketball play... They foul to hurt the other player... Such a dirty team, dirty coach and way to play the game. Used to like Buzz but that game changed my mind

This seems to be the MO of a lot of SEC teams. Get inferior talent, bulk them up and play like TAM. I think UGA does it too. Miss State as well. It is a shame it impacts our season long after we play them. If he is out we would limp through the remainder of the season at best.

The SEC is just thug ball every game. Bilas said that whomever wins the SECT will be so beat up he’s not sure they can recover by the NCAAT.

And SEC teams generally lose out quickly in the NCAAT because they aren’t allowed to play thug ball. Especially TN.

I think Pearl at Auburn has only made it out of the first weekend one time in 11 years.
