Any update on cam Johnson visit

Sometimes a better fit is more important than a better player. An experienced player and a wing/guard that can shoot and score at a high % is what UK needs next season. Knox can drive and has size, but (if we get Bamba and Diallo comes back) I don't think he adds anything we do not already have.

For example, having Trey Lyles was a big plus in 2015 but I would of traded for a less talented wing defender that we desperately needed..especially after Alex went out for the year.

Knox could not hurt, but I think we are set with size and driving ability. I think a sure fire shooter and player who has played on the road at places like Duke and UNC and thrived would be a better fit for the team.

I agree. At this point, we can't be taking chances that would result in us getting nothing. Take Johnson, who can obviously play as he has been successful in the ACC for 2 years. I don't like to go against Cal when it comes to recruiting, but almost everything points to Knox going to dUKe or unc-Cheat

The only thing I question with him is why we have let some top recruits hold us hostage in the recruiting cycle the last few years. We are UK, we can get almost anyone we want. Unless it is the top 1 or 2 players in the class that are truly must gets, I personally think you hand out offers to all the players you like and say "the first (insert however many you need to sign) that commit gets a spot and to the rest good luck!" Knox is good obviously, but he isn't a make or break type player. Bamba is that type of player, so I can see holding off for him.

Don't let them work you up. They are just made by people who aren't intelligent enough to contribute to the discussion, but still have a desperate need to be noticed and feel included.
