Ulis hit one from the left side near the UK bench from the E in Arena.

He hit his 2nd bomb from the right side easily 10 feet behind the 3 point line.

I'd estimate both at 30 feet or a little longer.

Thoughts?

PS I cant remember 2 deeper threes made by the same player in the same game for UK.

they should have been 4 pointers

As to other UK players hitting 2 long shots in a game

Ronnie Lyons
Jay Shidler
Derrick Miller

Ulis' 2nd three in the 1st half was pretty deep - easily beyond nba range. He was draining them when they were shooting around before the game, too.

Tayshaun got the puppies set off the bus.

I was at the UNC game when he started the game with those 5 threes. When that fifth one went in, I've never heard Rupp louder. It wasn't that great of a game overall, but at that moment it was like being at a Spinal Tap show. My ears were ringing the next day.

Ulis hit a half court shot in an early shoot-around. He was destined to have a big day shooting.

I saw Prince and Sparks and Ford and Feldhaus hit absolute bombs during games but yesterday was the first time I have ever seen two 30 footers from one guy in one game.

Had season tickets last year. Tyler would ALWAYS warm up shooting long bombs from out of bounds by bench. He was pretty accurate too. I love getting there early to watch them warm up. Dakari also always shot free throws before the games.
