As a joyful reminder: AD had 186 blocks in 2012, good for 5th all time for a single season in NCAA history.

He finished behind David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon, each with 207. And then a couple of comparative no-names: Shawn James (Northeastern) with 196 and Mickell Gladness (Alabama A&M) with 188.

Decent year, huh?

He probably had one of the best years possible for an athlete, in 2012. Title, AA, NPOY, multiple other accolades, #1 draft pick, and gold medal at the Olympics. Crazy.
