Griffin Grady visited UK yesterday. Apparently he looked good. He's listed at like 191 here on Rivals.com but apparently he's gotten bigger and showed up maybe 210.

There's a chance UK could push again for Messiah deWeaver. Vince Marrow has still been keeping that relationship going.

I'm told that Mainord is only doing 'a little' work in Miami. Not a primary responsibility and since UK's coaches don't have a ton of ties down there it won't be a huge thing. Just a bonus if they can get anything going.

Austin Kendall -- UK's obviously not happy with how that situation has been playing out. They invested themselves and Kendall has just never gone all in. Who knows. Maybe the dynamics of the relationship are weird. Older brother isn't on scholarship; younger brother would come in riding on the white horse as the elite QB. Awkward all around. That's only my take/interpretation but maybe there's a lot more than meets the eye. He definitely has never fallen in love with UK. Would be very surprised if Kentucky is the pick right now.

Wondering whether Jordan Griffin's commitment will stick in the long run. I'm told Jaylin Bannerman still feels very good about Kentucky and is likely to stick - at least that's the read right now. Core of UK's class will be Kentucky and Ohio. Guys in the South are increasingly looking tough to hold onto. FWIW, I think the class UK currently has is fantastic. They need to be smart and get guys that are going to stick. I like their chances at holding onto an Ethan Tucky or Griffin Grady better than taking chances on Jonathan Jones and Keith Simms, who I think are likely to end up elsewhere.
