I spoke with a source familiar with Oklahoma's end of things and the word is they're planning to offer Austin Kendall. Not sure if he's gotten there yet or not but he will be there. According to this source, OU people are "quietly optimistic" about landing Kendall. Not sure if that's just an assumption on their part that they can beat out Kentucky or if it's based on a quiet understanding between the Sooner staff and Kendall's party.
I will say that sources close to Kentucky originally, before he decommitted from Tennessee, were 50-50 on their chances. Then gradually they started to feel as though they were getting him. Now I need to check and see what the feel on the ground is but I don't think the timing of this visit is good. Not making a prediction because I have no clue what Kendall's real feelings on OU are.
