If anyone who doesn't have Disney+ is interested:

“Andor” Set For ABC, FX, Hulu Airings

ABC, FX, Freeform and Hulu will air the show’s first two episodes over the Thanksgiving holiday. The airings will coincide with the show’s season finale – thus allowing those who do have a taste of these episodes and like them to then binge on the entire run via the Disney+ service.

The episodes will be available on ABC on Wednesday, November 23rd; On FX on Thursday, November 24th and on Freeform on Friday, November 25th with all airing from 9-10:30 pm. In addition, the two episodes will be available on Hulu from November 23rd through December 7th.

Masterful story telling. The finale was incredible. Rings of Power showrunners should study this for how to take multiple storylines, locations and characters spread out across many locations and weave them into a great concise conclusion.

MVP is the anvil gong dude.

The story never lost focus whereas others in the SW-series universe seem to have done so.

Great videography, sets and costumes only rivaled by high budget sci-fi films if you ask me.

Get Out Shut Up GIF by Jason Clarke

Just finished all 3.

Dedra has some how become my favorite character. However I played the Witcher 3 over the summer and now when she talks all I hear is Yennifer. Too bad they didn't get her to play Yen in the Netflix show.

Bix is gorgeous as ever.

Dude sold them out but I wonder if the woman that was with Brasso knew as well?

I don’t think Brasso was sold out. It seemed to me he was pretending to be angry at the guy so that the Imperials wouldn’t suspect he had been helping Brasso. When Brasso was on the ground and looked over at him, he gave Brasso a slight look of appreciation.

I think Brasso was going out of his way to protect the people that were helping them hide.

Agreed.

For whatever reason i find it odd that andor and rogue one are so much better than other star wars content. You'd think the opposite since it lacks jedis, other than the awesome vader scene.

It's an extremely well written spy show set in the rebellion against the Empire. We don't really need the other stuff. We've seen that before.

Much better writing, character development.

Prequels had a good world-building, but pitiful dialogue. Sequels were disjointed and poorly written. I liked Solo, thought it was a fun movie. The Mandalorian is solid, especially the first two seasons. Ahsoka was eh. I like BOBF more than most, minus the goofy cyborgs. Acolyte may be one of the worst shows I have ever watched. Obi-Wan had a poor story with side characters nobody cared about.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the first 3 episodes. "Shogun" is the only thing I have watched recently with this good of writing.

I enjoyed Ahsoka a lot but maybe because I adore Rebels.

This, Shogun, Blue Eye Samurai and Arcane are the best written shows I've seen lately.

I've seen people taking issue with it. I'm guessing those people are young.

Episodes 8 and 9 is some of the best TV I've ever seen. Mercy.

My jaw dropped when the resistance leaders daughter got bodied by the KX and immediately died.

Great show. I'm fixin to watch the newest three episodes. This is Star Wars for mature folk amd something I thought I'd never see until Season 1. Love the show. I thought Rougue One was right behind ESB ad far as best Star Wars movie. Can't wait to see how they tie it in.

Mon Mathma had one scene in Return of the Jedi 42 years ago and over the course of Rebels and Andor have turned her into one of the best Star Wars characters ever. She shined in episode 9.

Is the mineral on Ghorman what the empire wants/uses to power the Death Star's planet destroyer weapon?

Yeah, they need it for the Death Star’s reactor.

I’ll say this about Andor. While I love watching movies or TV shows, I can’t say that I’m moved by them. I generally just take them in as entertainment and enjoy them, but it’s extremely rare for me to have any kind of emotional or visceral reaction while watching.

However, I physically felt tense during episode 8 as things were escalating in the plaza, even through I already knew what was coming. The way that sequence was written and edited fully drew me in. Even as a kid, I can’t really recall that happening much.

The writers, cast, crew, etc. have just done an unbelievable job with this show. It easily could’ve been just another show using Star Wars IP that was somewhat entertaining, but they’ve really managed to elevate it to something more.

Just finished the last 3 episodes, was a nice touch during the end credits.

My favorite line maybe in the whole show was Krenic to Dedra: "If you aren't a rebel spy, then you missed your calling."

What a show. Hated to see luthen die but knew it had to happen. He was definitely one of my favorite characters across all of star wars.
