In my opinion this is a great comparison. Although Folgueiras has better footwork at this stage of his career, and probably more upside. Padgett was a great college player. I would sign him in a heartbeat. May not exactly be the big stretch 4 were looking for now, but very much potentially could be in year 2.

I think yours is a good comparison, based on what I've seen of Folgie !! You might throw in a bit of Derek Willis ... !!

Good comparison but he has a long way to go to be in Padgett’s shoes. Loves that 98 team and that Puke game is maybe my favorite game of all time.

The non-skill intangibles are most important:
Is he a leader?
Does he quit when the team is hopelessly behind?
Does he sulk or recover quickly after a bad shot or mistake?
Does his team play better when he is on the floor?
What motivates him the most? Winning or the NBA
Is he coachable?

Some of these attributes are noticed by watching film. Others can be ascertained with Zoom and face-to-face interviews. CMP and staff will be selecting players that fit their criteria. They won’t be desperately searching for players.

I don’t know of there was ever a game I had been so down and sad at halftime vs. how excited and happy I was at the end. Maybe the UofL Sparks game.
that was so sweet. Unforgettable. that Sparks game. wow. good memories, good stuff there.

Sometimes, some of those games, when you look back on 'em, they just become "The Sparks game" or the "The Meeks Game:" or "The Goose was golden" ... or someone having a great moment.

But as far as swings of dejection / elation goes, and that it was the Louisville game .... oh sweet baby momma.... Sparks' game was legendary. No doubt about it.

I remember staying up all night reading all the post game comments and basking in the glow of that 98 comeback win. Probably one of the most satisfying ever, couldn’t stop smiling.
