Almanor!

Kentucky men’s basketball head coach Mark Pope has inked Ansley Almonor (pronounced: ANS-lee AL-mah-nor) as his 11th addition to his inaugural roster, as announced on Friday.

Almonor set a Fairleigh Dickinson single-season record with 93 made 3-pointers as a junior last season, while averaging 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game en route to earning first-team All-Northeast Conference honors. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.

This would mean this is his last season

There was a great bit on him during the Duke game. He had a Duke poster and a UK poster growing up and wanted to play at either. Wasn’t recruited by them.

Now he gets his chance at a dream. Pretty dang sweet.

My man can shoot it off the spot up. Not afraid. Can't jump over a deck of cards. But he ain't afraid. Guarded Edey in the Tournament and helped bounce Purdue.

He

His follow thru on his shot is something I noticed! He is shooting with confidence! If we could get healthy, and put together all these little pieces ect. It'll get interesting in March!
I'm a shooter, still hold the record at my old high school for 3 point % and I swear to you I called my buddy after he'd make a couple and told him how confidently he shoots it! You can just tell from how they shoot if they're confident or not. Crazy you mentioned that bro. I very much agree with you about March my friend 👍.
