I'm not sure how many 3 pointers Alabama made but they were absolutely on fire. When a team is shooting like that from the three it's hard to be anybody.

I said in another thread we simply have to find a way to get more 3s up. 27 isn’t enough for us in a game where we have such deficiencies in athleticism and defense.
They made 13, but made them at very opportune times
I think the key was, they knocked down their open looks and hit FTs. We left alot out there.
This. They hadn't been hitting the 3's all that well this year but they got right this game unfortunately.
This. They won because they made the big shot (s) at the right time. It seemed like it was always when the momentum was swinging our way.
Only made two more than UK but felt like more. Game was already decided when we hit the last two.
Reading a box score rarely tells the tale. Their 3s in the second half were daggers. Every time we’d get some momentum they would busy one.
Alabama hit their threes because they were wide open- we weren't within 5' of the shooter. This is why most any team we play hits their season high on threes.....
They also made 9 more FT’s than UK attempted. That should tell you all you need to know. UK outplayed Alabama in almost every aspect of the game even in points from FG’s. They received a lot of help from the refs.
most of the free throws were from fouls, and the fouls are because the defense is atrocious and can’t stay in front of their man and try to recover late.
We fouled them a ton because we were not in position to defend.
