Tubby wanted Josh Duncan instead but couldn't pull him away from basketball powerhouse Xavier.
Tubby did have the #1 class in 2004 but it was unbalanced with 4 guards( Rondo, Crawford, Bradley, and transfer Sparks) and a center(Morris).
