I too was born there. I drive by it everytime I come home to visit my Mom who still lives downtown.

Yep. Our mothers worked together at the museum and we were foes in the good ole Limestone Academic League.

Anybody seen any cool abandoned places here in the ol' Bluegrass State lately? My friends and I prowl around central and eastern Kentucky every once in a while. Planning a trip to Black Mountain, never been there before.

I'm thinking about getting a drone, but I don't know a darn thing about them and so I'd appreciate any info about 'em from somebody who does. =)

I nearly crashed my Harley riding over Black Mountain at night on KY 160 many years ago. Gotta pay attention on that road.

Edit: Drones. Purchased an EXO earlier this month. Learning now. We might start up a drone thread here soon.

I drove up there one day. No signage or markers. I remember an old “fire watch” tower.
